Overview
Pixie Dust CRM ("we," "us," or "our") provides SMS messaging services to facilitate communication between travel advisors and their clients. This SMS Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information related to SMS communications sent through our platform, and explains your rights regarding SMS messaging.
How You Opt In to SMS Messages
SMS opt-in is completely voluntary. You are never required to opt in to receive SMS messages to use the Pixie Dust CRM client app or to receive travel agent services. You opt in to receive SMS messages in one of the following ways:
- In-app opt-in prompt: When you first log in to the Pixie Dust CRM client app and your travel advisor has SMS messaging enabled, you will be shown an opt-in dialog titled "Stay Updated via Text." This dialog explains the types of messages you will receive, displays our SMS disclosure, and provides a link to this SMS Privacy Policy. You can choose "Yes, Send Me Texts" to opt in or "No Thanks" to decline. If you decline, the dialog will not be shown again and you will not receive SMS messages.
- Settings toggle: At any time, you can visit the Settings screen in the Pixie Dust CRM client app to toggle SMS notifications on or off. Enabling SMS in Settings constitutes opt-in; disabling it constitutes opt-out.
When you opt in, we record your consent with a timestamp. No SMS messages will be sent to you until you have explicitly opted in through one of the methods described above.

Consent Disclosure
By opting in to receive SMS messages through the Pixie Dust CRM client app, you consent to receive text messages from your travel advisor via our platform. You understand and agree that:
- Opting in is completely voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Message frequency varies based on your trip activity and communication with your travel advisor.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or toggling off SMS in your app Settings.
- You may text HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at jeff@pixiedustcrm.dev.
What Information We Collect
When you opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect and store:
- Your phone number
- Your opt-in status and the date and time you opted in
- Message content and delivery status
- Your opt-out date and time, if applicable
Types of Messages
You may receive the following types of transactional SMS messages from your travel advisor through Pixie Dust CRM:
- Payment reminders and payment confirmations
- Appointment and booking confirmations
- Trip updates and important date reminders (e.g., final payment due dates, dining reservation windows)
- Direct responses to your inquiries
We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising SMS messages. All messages sent through our platform are transactional and directly related to your travel bookings and the services provided by your travel advisor.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your trip activity and communication with your travel advisor. You will only receive messages relevant to your bookings and travel plans. Typical frequency ranges from 1 to 10 messages per month, depending on your upcoming trips and booking activity. You will never receive more messages than necessary for legitimate transactional communication.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP: Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
- App Settings: Open the Pixie Dust CRM client app, go to Settings, and toggle off SMS notifications.
- Contact us: Email jeff@pixiedustcrm.dev and request to be removed from SMS communications.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you explicitly opt in again. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use the Pixie Dust CRM client app, receive email communications, or receive services from your travel advisor.

Costs and Carrier Rates
Pixie Dust CRM does not charge you for receiving SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan and any associated costs.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your phone number is used exclusively to deliver transactional messages from your travel advisor through our platform. SMS opt-in data and consent status are not shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider. Twilio processes your phone number and message content solely to deliver messages on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy policy. No other third parties have access to your SMS opt-in data, phone number, or message content.
Data Retention
SMS message logs, opt-in records, and opt-out records are retained for record-keeping and compliance purposes for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated SMS data — including your phone number, opt-in records, and message history — will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier coverage and delivery are subject to your carrier's network availability. We cannot guarantee delivery on all carriers or in all locations.
